The Adventures of Dot and Mae

Dot and Mae spent the weekend visting a couple of their fish friends, Ben and Jerry. Jerry has lived with Big Girl Gabriella for almost a year, and Ben has just moved into the neighborhood. They are very lovely fish. Jerry is the red fish and Ben is a beautiful shade of blue. They are Siamese Fighting Fish, also called Bettas. Dot and Mae had a wonderful time hanging out with them.

This photo isn’t that good of Dot and Mae, you’ll have to excuse it - your humble narrator got a bit overeager with the flash. Dot and Mae were none too happy, staggering around after the photo was taken clutching themselves and yelling, “My eyes! My eyes!”

Luckily, the dancing spots before their eyes subsided in just a short while and they are both perfectly fine now!

One of the girls’ favorite things to do at Ben and Jerry’s is to use their Etch-A-Sketch! It’s a really fun and very challenging toy you can draw and write with. Dot and Mae have always wondered how Etch-A-Sketch works, and they’ve never had one to break open and figure it out. This weekend they decided that breaking open Ben and Jerry’s toy wouldn’t be a very nice thing for a good guest to do, so they just used the internet and found a place that explains it! It’s very interesting, have a look!

They also found a place where you can play with an etch-a-sketch online!

Well Dot and May would show you some of the pictures they drew . . . but they got frustrated and shook it. Oh well, you can still go make your own!
