Senorita Pingüino

Dear Readers, last night it snowed. Again. Dot and Mae suppose that’s what happens in January in the winter. It snows. Today they went out to play in all the new snow with their good friend, Senorita Pinguino. Senorita Pinguino loves it when it snows because she was born at the very tipy end of South America where it is very cold and nice for penguins, so the snow reminds her of when she was just a young penguin.

Today Senorita Pinguino helped Dot and Mae make a snowman. They had such a good time, they made him a wife and several children. When they were done, Dot and Mae felt like they were froze through completely so they invited Senorita Pinguino in for hot chocolate with marshmallows and smashed peppermint candy sprinkles. While they were drinking the hot chocolate, the sun came out, but not too much yet, so the snow-people are safe for now.

Senorita Pinguino taught them a little song to sing. You sing it to the tune of “Frere Jacques”

“Buenos Dias, Buenos Dias, como estas? comos estas? Muy bien, gracias! Muy bien, gracias! y usted? y usted?”

If you want to make some snowpeople and it didn’t snow where you are, you can go here SNOWPEOPLE and make some very nice ones for yourself - and you can sing Senorita Pinguino’s song while you do it! Hasta luego!
