Happy Easter to all of our friends from Dot and Mae! We hope you had a lovely Easter, Dot and Mae had a great time (they LOVE Easter) and they wanted to share some photos with you! Here is Dot and Mae looking at all the goodies in Big Girl Gabriella’s Easter Basket! It was a lovely violet colored basket filled with candies and nice gifts like pretty pads of paper shaped like flowers, and a little book for taking notes . . . all kinds of good things!
There was even an adorable pair of socks with bunnies on them! How cute is that? Yes. VERY!
Dot and Mae each got a HUGE chocolate egg! The eggs were almost as big and Dot and Mae! Dot’s was wrapped in a fun bright pink foil and Mae’s was wrapped in pretty violet foil that matched the Easter basket. How long do you think it will take Dot and Mae to eat their eggs? We hope they don’t get sick trying to eat them too quickly!
Here is Mae with the Easter Bunny . . . oh, you’re right! It’s not the REAL Easter Bunny! It’s just an eraser that looks like him! Isn’t that funny! Dot and Mae were both fooled by it until they got up close - they thought it was the real one too!
Here is Dot and Mae doing the bunny hop . . . do you know that dance? It’s a fun dance to do anytime - not just on Easter!
Happy Easter to you all - we hope you have a wonderful day!
1After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.
